Spell Focus feat

Question for people who have converted to 3.5 version. Did any of you house rule that Spell Focus remains at +2 instead of +1? If so, how do you think it is working out with all the other changes that 3.5 brought on? Thanks.

Well, I haven't used -all- of the 3.5e changes yet, and since I have my own Archmage and Heirophant classes, the save issue was never really a problem.

Combine this with the additional fighter feats and fixed ranger and bard, I haven't had any issues with a (potential) +2 DC.

Oh yeah. Spell Focus grants +2, and there's no such thing as Greater Spell Focus.

I really like the Augment Summoning Feat, though, so I'm going to make more "stage 2" Feats that require various Spell Foci.

I went with the new 3.5 version... but I did do something else as well. I allowed Spell Focus to add +1 caster level as well. That way it gave an equal advantage to schools that don't have saves.

Its a bit more powerful, but not too much. Heck, nobody has actually bothered to take it, even with the bump. :)
