Spellbook prop (or maybe I'm getting too obsessive about my wizard character)

I've been contemplating getting one of these. I saw this line at the local art gallery shop and I've been drooling over them since. They look very much what I would think a spellbook would be like. Just thought some of you might appreciate them

I think I may have to get one of these for when I play my wizard as well....

Though it may have to wait a bit, that's a hefty price tag...

Borders also has some nice blank journals that are somewhat more reasonable in price ($12-$20). I'm considering getting one for my next long-term PC (who will be a wizard, as it turns out).

Oberon Designs

I'd recommend a tooled leather journal with a quasi-occult design. Oberon Designs has a line of journals with "metaphysical" designs, a line with Celtic designs, a line with tree/leaf designs, etc.

Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb.

Get the tall journal as your great tome.

Get the small one as your traveling spellbook.

And get some spiffy inks to make the spells and learn calligraphy!
