Spells that eliminate or reduce SR?

Does anybody know of any spell(s) that eliminates or reduces spell resistance (SR)?

I'm going up against a tough monster with high SR and so far the only spell that might work would be a wish spell.

If there anything else that may work to do the trick, let me know.

There is Assay Resistance in Complete Arcane.

4th level spell that give you a +10 bonus on caster level check against 1 creature.

Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration as well as every bonus to your caster level helps.

Then there are three spells (top = best; IMHO, of course):

1) Assay Resistance [Complete Arcane]
2) Spell Vulnerability [Planar Handbook]
3) Lower Spell Resistance [Draconomicon]

Lower spell resistance, Clr 4, Sor/Wiz 4 spell from Draconomicon. Reduces target SR by 1 per caster level (maximum -15) for 1 minute/level. Target receives a Fort save to negate, but save is penalised by -1 per caster level (maximum -15).

There's also lower resistance, Sor/Wiz 4 spell from Relics & Rituals. I can't remember its exact mechanic sorry; however, I do remember it also negates any resistance bonuses to saving throws the target has.

You could also use limited wish, wish or miracle to get a good roll on your SR check, but the SR lowering spells Thanee mentioned are a better solution in general.
