Not counting the sheer volume of swag brought back, check out what we bought this year:
-Gamer's Bag: Art ordered one for Gelfling #2, and we ordered one for Hound: let's hear it for the ENWorlder discount! I <3 Paladin&Wife!
-Paradigm Concepts: Players Guide to Arcanis, Ssethagore/Serpent Empire, Bloodspeakers, City of Secrets, In the Shadow of the Devil
-a black denim Utilikilt & belt for Hound (it should be ready in time for his birthday at the end of October, huzzah!)
-from Guardians of Order: a Hat of d02 Know No Limit baseball cap, BESM Stingy Gamers Edition (for one of our teen players), Ex Machina
-from Fiery Dragon: well, we TRIED to pay for it, but they wouldn't let us... a Gold Creature Collection tin! Woot!
-Jackson Games (I <3 the exact change dance) a Lovecraft Graphic Novel, Cthonian Valentine Cards
-Looney Labs: Playing With Pyramids book to replace the one the Gelflings left out in the rain
-WhiteWolf: World of Darkness & Vampire, the Requiem
-Sovereign Press: 2 book plates for Margaret Weis to sign
-a Bag of Holding to keep it all in

-WotC: held off on picking up Risk: Godstorm and Heroscape until Hound's birthday- the van was going to be too full, and I liked the idea of being able to afford gas to get us home.

-Big Shout-Out to Guardians of Order, Fiery Dragon, and UDON for donating swag to the Canadiana Suite!

I stood holding both of these games for about an hour on Saturday. In the end, I couldn't really justify picking them up at the con, as I can likely get them closer to home at a reasonable price and I just didn't have room in my luggage.

But it was a tough call! They looked cool.

Somebody actually made a Hat of d02 Know No Limit baseball cap? That's it . . . it's the end of d02 as we know it.

Mmmm Mmmmm - Heroscape. Almost bought it there the demo Rocked so much. But the demonstrator said it would be in Walmart this week or next so I held off. I asked why a mini's type game was being mass marketed against the D&D and Star Wars mini's. He said it was just being sold to a different target market.

Bought a bag of holding for my wife and two medium bags for my boys at The Gamers Bag. Bought about 4 sets of dice and a very large d20.
Bought a set of Tact-Tiles and some Starwars TCG boosters.
Bought the platinum edition of Dundjinni (was like half price).
Extended my subscription to Dungeon & Dragon and entered an won the contest for the World's Largest Dungeon (Which I was gonna buy so I saved that money for later ;)

I get to enjoy the spoils of KB9JMQ but I did order a bag of holding from Paladinwife. I have to admit, though, I asked her to design one to hold my make-up. I don't own enough dice to fill another bag of holding. I got the blue dragon outside with blue lightning inside. I can't wait to place it in its place of honor on my bathroom shelf.

blew all my cash the first day on new dragonlance stuff. i had to resist putting myself into debt to pick up other things i really wanted =)

What did the Gelflings spend their award money on?

You just reminded me of something I forgot to list earlier... I also dropped $40 to buy the entire LukeSki collection (including the "Are we Stalling For Time" GenCon retrospective). We listened to 'em all on the way home. Vamp of Constant Sorrow almost made me pee. Hound and I are avid Filk fans now.

ummmm... the girls each bought themselves a lovely embroidered Chinese silk top (of the style I was admiring on Kate at the ENnies) and a fan. Gelf #2 picked up a cute poison ring, a scorchio plushie and a neopets book, a handful of Buffy CCG packs ($1 each), and I think that's it. Gelf #1 bought a bunch of GenCon pins to give to her friends, a bookwyrm tshirt, some silver unicorn earrings, some Hello Kitty chopsticks for her hair, and that's about it.

Oh yeah! Earlier this evening, they bought their dance teacher dinner as a thank you. She was the one who choreographed the piece they performed.

I <3 my kids.
