Spicing up the game with informational charts.

I started skimming through all of my 3e Dragon Magazines lately, looking for any charts that I can mine ideas from to spice up our game.

I'm looking for lists/charts that contain information like: 'Tavern Activities, things PCs might see NPCs doing in a tavern', or 'Wilderness scenery, things worth mentioning that PCs might see while on the road (broken wagon, old bridge, field of burnt trees).

I love charts with information like this because it is an easy way to quickly come up with some fluff to better detail a scene.

I was wondering if anyone has a favorite chart similar to this that they would like to share?

I'm also wondering if you know of any specific issues of Dragon magazine (any edition) that contains a chart like this? I also know there is info like this is various 3e WotC books, but I can't remember all of them. Does anyone remember any charts like this from the 3e books? I seem to remember a chart of 'random NPC personalities'.

Damn you guys, I was hoping to get some info from the crap loads of WotC & Dragon mags I already have, but those Toolbox books look really good. Even a couple of the 'Bits of' books look like they are worth getting. There goes another chunk of my money on something I wasn't expecting to get

The Bits of series is nice, I have quite a few of them and they serve well for descriptions. What I like about them is many of them have been formatted to fit on note cards so I can print them out and carry them in the gaming backpack with ease.
