[QUOTE="Prince Atom, post: 465651, member: 6046"] And that is different from the comic book how? Seriously, every other villain is the result of some experiment gone wrong or an unintended side effect of an experiment. Spidey himself is one, and he's the only good cookie in the whole bunch. Lookit: The Green Goblin The Hobgoblin (by extension, but he did that to himself intentionally) The Lizard Doc Ock The Scorpion The Rhino (okay, so the experiment was a success in this case) The only one who seems to have harnessed science is the Vulture, and the last I heard he got cancer from his power pack and was looking for a fountain of youth (course that was back before my 10-year hiatus). Marvel is pretty much a sci fi company. I don't know whom I'd like to see as Doc Ock, but I do think it's a perfect time for someone with tentacles or tendrils. Venom would be visually impressive on the big screen. More power to Bruce Campbell if he lands Curt Connors. I hope they don't make him irredeemable like the Goblin. That's the entire point of the Lizard -- Curt doesn't want to be the Lizard, and Spidey can't hurt him because that would devastate the Connors. Some of Spidey's best battles have been with the Lizard. I remember back in ASM 365 they had a rumble in the sewers and Spidey got trapped under Penn Station and had to lift it off himself. Whee!!
