Spirit Talker

If one takes the Spirit Talker feat (ie, multiclasses into Shaman) does your
spirit get the Spirit Boon effect? I'm guessing that they shouldn't (it arguably makes the feat too strong) but the wording certainly seems to imply that they do.

I personally don't feel that it's implied at all, but that could just be me. The way I read that Feat is you get the powers it says you get, at the frequency it says you get them, but you don't get any of the other options from either the Protector or Stalker spirit options.

It certainly couldn't hurt to have some clarification from WotC however.

It says you get the Call Spirit Companion power, it doesn't say anything about getting the Protector Spirit class feature or the Stalker Spirit class feature, they are two different things. So the answer is no, you don't get Spirit Boon. Note that the feat explicitly gives you an at-will which normally would be part of one of the 'spirit type' feature benefits.
