Message: <blockquote data-quote="Rystil Arden" data-source="post: 2188095" data-attributes="member: 29014">Oh, I know what the new abilities are.  I just didn't know about changes made to the old ones.  But yeah, not being able to stack Empowers can hurt...certainly not like in the old days when one of my players randomly decided to covnert Sunless Citadel to a level 21 dungeon and let me make Prospero, the Epic Incantrix.  Prospero's Persistent True Seeing was a real problem, especially when the GM forgot about it, and then after killing the 10th-round worth of 10 elder ooze elementals who were popping out of the enemy druid's spell per round (by myself, ten per round with Metamagicked Horrid Wiltings) I said, "There's no way he can do this.  Are you sure you remembered my Persistent True Seeing?"  And he said, "Oh crap, I forgot to tell you it was all an Illusion."</blockquote>
