Can ANYONE please explain to me how some of you were watching Angel but not Buffy? I just don't get it. They have constant crossovers, the same creative teams, half of the same characters... it just dont make any sense to my poor little head. I can almost understand liking Angel and Buffy but not Firefly or vice-versa if you have genre issues, but Angel without Buffy? Is this Bizarro-World? Tonights show: Spent half the night trying to remember and then looking up what happened to Harmony, cuz i VIVIDLY remember Spike staking her, but not her surviving it. Eve is another former Boston Public student. Theyre showing up everywhere. Like most W&H employees, she didnt impress me. The panther told Gunn to get a lawyer-implant? I REALLY hope theres a whole lot more to this. Did it also tell him to grow some really bad hair? Speaking of bad hair, how can anyone look at Angel without laughing? Is he TRYING to look like a dark haired Johnny Bravo? Fred really needs to eat something. She might blow away or turn sideways and disappear. Did Wesley do anything? Not enough Krevlorneswath of the Deathwok clan!!! Both fights in this episode looked higher-budget than usual, which could be a good thing except they just seemed to have a different feel than normal. The plot for tonights episode just left me flat. It didnt seem to do much in the way of showing what the cast can and will do differently in a new situation (except Gunn) I almost wish they woulda jumped ahead 3 months so they woulda have already slid into their new positions. I REALLY have to watch the early Angel's on DVD because I've always felt that Wolfram & Hart made no sense because I never got a grip on their motive for anything. Evil law firm is almost as silly as evil cosmetics company (see mocking in Catwoman thread). I really NEED to know what their ultimate purpose and goal is. So there were some great line as usual and Spike's arrival should be potentially interesting but theres still a lot of kinks to be worked out with the new "direction"
