Message: <blockquote data-quote="Holy Bovine" data-source="post: 1156572" data-attributes="member: 203">I actually watched my first episode of Angel the other night and it happened to be this one (the season opener).  I liked it! <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />  That surprised me because half the time I didn't know who anyone was or what the hell was going on.  Fortunately my friends (who are all big Buffy & Angel fans) were able to fill me in on the important backstory details during commercial breaks.  I never liked Buffy because of its bad acting and poor fight scenes but I liked what I saw in Angel.  the actors are charismatic and fun to watch.  The big fight at the end was actually well done and very enjoyable (although I thought the 'SWAT' team rather dumb for just trying to shoot Angel - he's a freaking vampire guys!  You use the holy water first not as a last resort!).  So all in all I am going to try to catch this on a regular basis.  Who knows, maybe I'll be another Angel fan! <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" /></blockquote>
