Yup. It also explains why Ned was so vehemently against killing off all of the Targaeryns. If Dany and Viserys were killed, Jon would be next. Dany will land her armies in the next book. I think the Red Witch will go to join her, but we'll be treated to another of Martin's famous off hand character deaths when Dany unceremoniously puts her to the sword. Remember that a witch cost Dany Drogo and her son. I also think that Jon will completely forswear himself and join with Dany as her consort and husband. I'm thinking that Dany will be the top dog after all is said and done, but the 7 kingdoms will be in ruins. Rickon will end up considerably worse than that guy from WoT...I think we're seeing another Mountain that Walks in the making. He's going to turn into one sick, evil bastard which is just heartbreaking. Either that or he gets so far gone that Bran will have to do an "Old Yeller" on him, which will be even more heartbreaking. Basically, Rickon is made for great tragedy. The effect of the Wolves: Sansa is lost without her wolf. All of them provide some guidance or protection, if only they were listened to. The wolves also seem to provide a certain moral and mental strength to the kids. Note how Jon has heeded Ghost the most and overall seems in the best shape. Robb ignored Grey Wind's warnings the most and look what happened. Arya is still connected to her Wolf. Notice how she was constantly dogged by wolves in her travels. Her wolf has built a huge pack and still protects her from afar. *sigh* And I'm still mourning the loss of the Red Viper. Damn he was cool.
