But (ahem) useless OT (ahem)? Posting OT stuff about sports because you love it and feel passionately about it is one thing; posting it when you don't is one of the things we generally discourage. But hey, no harm done. It's American Superbowl Sunday; there will be plenty of sports posts by the end of the day!

We played European Handball in P.E. when I was in Secondary (High) School. That was one fun game, especially the time the teacher let us play full-contact that time... It's right up there with lacrosse and rugby, definately.

For different reasons, of course, hehe.

Yes, and Denmark won bronze. Very good. We were rooting for you Sweden, and luckily you pulled thru.

What a paradox that we beat you on your way to the finals, and Iceland - our opponent in the bronze match - beat Germany on their way. Yet, we weren't in the finals?

Seriously, Handball is a great game; a full contact sport, it combines basketball, rugby and soccer. Once you've been in or watched a top level handball game basketball is nothing.

Of course, handball being a Danish game, it has to be great!

Actually, I posted this because I think it's very fun that we actually won - but I don't care if it was in soccer or handball or hockey - the important thing is that we won and that is indeed great!
