From the "Why Don't you Buy Dragon Magazine" thread. I'd like to express my wishes for a new version of Spycraft if I could. Spycraft is one of the few non-WotC d20 products I own, and it was the first non D&D d20 product I bought. I like Spycraft, I like the genre and I like it's modifications to d20, however there are things I didn't like that I hope that can be mended in a new version (I was also under the assumption that Spycraft was being discontinued in favor of the CCG, which also disappointed me, I'm glad to hear it's still in production). Spycraft seemed built on the model that players would buy every suppliment and keep up to date with everything published. I don't even keep up with every new D&D book because it's too expensive, much less an RPG that I might like to play on occaision but I don't want to devote hundreds of dollars to having everything I need. Many character types I have wanted to play which I thought seemed fairly important to the genre didn't even exist in the core book, only in suppliments (Scientist and Martial Artist come to mind), and Spycraft is different enough from similar d20 games (like d20 Modern) to make conversion of classes between quite difficult. Could you please add more core classes to the next version, and preferably add at least the basics of the psionics/magic rules? Also, personally I disliked how the weapons listing made each weapon listed only by it's caliber. I'm no firearms expert, so when my PC's ask for M-16's, I know that's under "Assault rifle", but I just guessed as to which actual gun stats to read off to them. I know what an Uzi, AK-47 or M-16 looks like (and from movies and video games, I think a lot of gamers do too) but identifying one just from some bare-bones statistics without a name is pretty hard. Just some suggestions,
