St. Cuthbert appeared before the whole pantheon for Oerth was much developed. I created him as much for the humor of his followers as for any other reason. As the cosmology developed, I would place St.Cuthbert as a disciple of PElor who became most stern and set in the "way of truth." As for the nagrams page, there are a fair number of errors on it. For example "Vecna" is a cration of Brian Blume's, and as far as I know he made that name up without consideration for Mr. Vance. Another gaff is "The Egg of Coot." Dave Arneson told me it was after one Gregg Scott, a chap in the Twin Cities area who mamufactured and sold micro armor, who asserted that military miniatures were "manley," and disparaged fantasy gaming. I was surprised at the connection of Nosra, the chief of the hill giants with the name Arneson, as that was not my intent. I pictured the giant with a large and red nose, thus the "nos" and the "ra"--Nosre ddn't cut it. Geoff is actually for a nephew of mine, Jeff Davis. Sometime when I have a f couple of hours to spare, I'll go through the whole list and try to correct what other errors I note. In regards the UP ON A SPAPBOX column, glad that the current series of accounts is being enjoyed :) I have a few more to go yet--a half dozen or so not counting those already turned in, so likely most if not all of 2002 will be covered. Wish I had time for recounting old tales here, but there's just not enough hours in the day... Cheerio, Gary
