But you can't speak in Gaseous Form. So, clearly, the reason for the lack of a verbal component is that that would mean there's no verbal component to the word of command to dismiss it, allowing you to dismiss it. It all makes sense now!Likewise, I guess silent spells can be dismissed with a simple thought, though still with a standard action...Bards are stuck Gaseous until it ends, though... since they can't cast spells without verbal components... poor bards.</blockquote>
