Six feet in length, of ash or rowan wood with bronze ferrules. Polished with a clear lacquer applied. Suitable for bashing heads, casting spells, and long hikes. No knots, they weaken the wood.

No enchantments, that part I'll take care of myself.

What? That sort of staff? Oh… …never mind.

I am a wizard. I'm not about to use anything a Hollywood queen would refuse to touch. (Thing would break prying wet ice off teflon.)

When I speak of a staff, I'm speaking of one that can crack plate, split skulls, and get a dragon's attention. A hard wood, plumbob straight with a tight grain. Three fingers thick, and I have big fingers.

None of this frou-frou stuff, bub. I want a stuff you can cast supernatural magic through, not just the wimpy preternatural stuff those D&D 'wizards' are so fond of. (When I Control Weather it affects countries.)

Since I am a gentleman, I will not tell you what I think you should do with that chunk of badly designed balsa wood, but suffice it to say it involves a confused beaver and a liberal application of motor oil.

(That's a staff? I've seen better work from alcoholic goblins with St. Vitus' Dance.)
