However they then destroy that goodwill immediately by solely showing US planes and rockets (even the submarine!) for the entire 20th century section. Who is Yuri Gagarin? What is Sputnik? Chopped liver? Even the 20th century calculations and plans are all American, which is hilariously misleading re: the US space program. This is deeply retrograde stuff for a show that put a Russian on the bridge of the Enterprise in like, 1963!* = Important to point out that I am judging Columbus by the standards of his own time here - people who served with him wrote about how utterly depraved he was, and how he happily oversaw atrocities far more disgusting than they could have imagined.</blockquote>
