I'm another Star Wars GM, and I still use my copy of Okina-rdae. Now I'd disagree strongly with greymarch that the generators made the books redundant. Okina-rdae could be used to create stats for just about anything, but when it came to actually running the system it had nothing. Not combat rules, movement rules, feat descriptions or anything like that. My impression is that it was closed down because WotC doesn't have the SW computer products license (which belongs to LucasArts) - only the pen & paper RPG license. And a computer product tied in with the RPG treads on LucasArts toes legally speaking (if not in any actually meaningful way...) So Wizards spoke to Nazgul (Okina-rdae's author) and asked him to take it offline because it was a potential threat to their license. Kinda funny actually, cos they have random character generators in their website archive which arguably come under the same heading... Anyway, it all sucks, but it's just one of those things you have to cope with I guess. High-level SW is a monstrous pain to GM for if you don't have a way to churn out NPCs, so I'd like to see a decent character generator come out at some stage. But it would probably require some renegotiation with Lucasfilm, and WotC simply doesn't seem to be willing to put in the effort.
