Appreciated. The web updates are nice, and certainly enough for most of us to hold out hope for something more and know that if they wanted the line dead, they wouldn't be producing those (and paying people like GM Sarli to write them). I think most of the fans have concluded that whatever problem is keeping the books grounded is more of a licensing technicalities issue or a corporate profits issue, and more likely the former. Well, we'll hold out hope. I endured the dark times between d6 and d20 when there was no SWRPG, no company had the license, and all we had were vague rumors that WotC was interested in buying the license (and rumors implying it would be an Alternity setting, since Alternity was their Sci-Fi system at the time). Having a company actually hold the license, and produce regular new materials on their website, as well as occasional bits of gaming material as part of a related minis line is far better than the worst that Star Wars RPG's have been through, far from the best though (I'd call the Hero's Guide the peak, that book was sweet, and produced at probably the zenith of the SWRPG's popularity and production). We'll wait, grumble, complain, keep playing, keep homebrewing stats and rules when there are gaps, and wait and hope for more books in the future. Star Wars is probably the most lucrative license in RPG's, you don't leave a gold mine untapped forever, after all.
