C8-22 stares at Joran's lightsaber and sputters."Why, why, yes sir, of course. Mr Vao said business associates may visit. He is not here at the present, but I shall be happy to show you to his room." The Duro behind the desk finally turns its attention from its datapad for a second to glance at the Jedi. Grunting something in its native tongue, the alien presses a button under the desk, opening a hidden door to the Jedi's right. The opening is oval about 2 meters wide, and 3 meters high. "Ah, yes please follow me, sirs,"The droid says, shuffling through the opening into a brightly lit corridor."Mr. Vao's room is quite close." The corridor is grey green in color and extends in a straight line for 60 meters, dead ending to what appears to be a elevator door. Doors to individual rooms are set on either side of the corridor at intervals of 10 meters. The protocol droid stops and looks back at the Jedi. "Room 104, third door on the right" it says helpfully, stiffly pointing in that direction. As the Jedi's gaze follows his arm they see that the indicated door is partly open. The rectangular door has slid open to the left a third of its one meter width, and a red light from a control panel on the wall next to the door blinks on and off in warning. "Oh dear" C8-22 says mournfully, "It appears the control panel has malfunctioned. This most embarassing. I shall have to call maintenance at once."
