I run my SWRPG strictly by PBEM and it becomes a real pain when some of my players are out of the office/out of the country and have to drop out of initiative.The big advantage of doing it by email, though, is that I love being able to scan a frame of comic art out of one of the comics and doctor it in Paint Shop Pro to show a particular view or perspective. I also tend to send very crude jpg maps to my players to show relative positions.Of course, with emails, I don't trust the players to roll the dice.
