You beat up a bunch of mine workers when you first got here. You saved a bunch of miners from grasping spiders. You fought off a bunch of pirates at the spaceport. Reks and Kacela were using lightsabers in all of these battles. This Gand befriended most of the mercenaries after saving Targo. Cal is a bit of a local hero saving many of the wounded and dying miners from the spider attack and when the big mining camp was destroyed by the worm. You also saving some other miners from being sacrificed to the worm by Degraded Rakatas. So while you have only been on the planet for couple of months you have had a big impact on it.
