During the battle he shot down two of Gold Squadron's Y-Wings but was in turn shot down by Wedge Antilles of Rogue Squadron. He survived the water landing and later learned that <a href="http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kasan_Moor" target="_blank">Kasan Moor</a> had been shot down as well. There was no official record of her having defected so it was assumed by most of the squadron that she had been killed in action.
