I am both bummed and delighted. Equal parts. First, cause I am sure this thread will level off in the next week or two, thank you to all who participated in this thread. I loved reading all the speculations, and I just loved being involved with a long thread, basically from the beginning of the thread. A first for me. Bummer Stuff

Sol dying. We knew it was going to happen. But man, I really liked the guy! I appreciate that everything Vernestra said about him was in fact true: His love twisted his behavior. He was acting irresponsibly. And Ki Adi Mundi's cannon is safe, for now!
Vernestra. She is doing exactly what she said Sol is doing. Being twisted by something she loves.
Delightful Stuff

The fight between Sol and Qimir. Wow. Loved it. Sol is a fighter.
me thinks that was Mother Korill in the cave!!!!
The twins really are One!
Vernestra. I understand why she is doing what she is doing. She can kind of see the future, and still thinks she can do something to stop it. She hasn't learned that she is just a puppet that can see the strings.
Sol was the fire that started all of this, i think that is really clear. His unawareness of his own emotional attachment really was a match that started this fire. But i still maintain, his are not the only actions that mattered. While he started it, everyone else threw kindling on it (metaphorically).
The Senator - holy crap that line about "You are trying to control the uncontrollable" excellent stuff, and at the heart of the Jedi's deepest problem. The Jedi seem to me to be really patterned on Zen. And I remember listening to Alan Watts one time, and him talking about something like this. That the harder you try to stop something the more it happens. Until you realize it is all a game. For the Jedi I think they need to learn that they can't get rid of emotions. That hiding from them, or denying them, isn't the path, but being aware of them, letting them be, and learning to just sit with the emotions, and not have to do anything with them. Emotions dont' require actions
Great series, Hope for a season 2
