Okay.. SG-1 has been good this season.. this is killing Atlantis for me.. Its the same damned story basically and the same damned mistakes that they made the first time.. do they not realize the majority of the fans are crossover fans? Sigh.

Oh, because humans never make the same mistake twice. ;)

I really enjoyed this episode. It's fun to see Weir in the field. And we sure as hell don't need to see the Wraith every friggin' show. I'm all for story arcs but Stargate does just as well by its stand alone as its arcs. Well, I'll stop bitching right there because I honestly did enjoy the show. :D

I wanted to like it.. I thought the idea was cool until it turned into a photocopy of the replicator story.. including the whole hand through the head technique that Fifth used...

I did enjoy the character interaction, as usual the team of actors was spot on with the roles.. I was just disappointed..

Also it seemed odd Sheppard would go directly back to Atlantis - when on earth they would go to another frioendly gate or alpha site rather than give away the location of earth in such a situation.

I just felt that another potential take on the concept was phoned in by the writing team. I admit we often repeat our mistakes in life but it was just too close - though unlike with SG-1 no one really agonized over the betrayal in the end.

Why did they leave him in orbit when the jumper is armed?

But the idea of asended machines being the key to the Ori situation does interest me.
