I loved last night's episode especially Ronon's flashbacks. He has been my favorite character ever since he first joined the show.

I don't like the character much, but I enjoyed the show. Even if the SFX sometimes seemed cheesy or overdone - it if the character and the theme, so I don't care.

It was good to have a character episode (especially for Ronon). I attribute the wonky camera-work to Robert Cooper. I guess the exec. producer/writer felt like getting out of the office for this ep. On the whole, it was very well done. Atlantis is certainly coming into its own (although the previous episode was like taking 2 steps back). I just wish not every story had to deal with the Wraith.

Oh, and best line goes to Rodney after getting shot: "That did not just happen!"

Its not just the line, but the perfect way he delivered it with complete and utter disbeleif.
It was the last thing Rodney would have ever expected to happen to him, to get shot in the ass with a crossbow. Pure gold...

I disagree. As soon as I saw all the guns laid out carefully in the warehouse, my thought was, "Someone on the staff has been watching Equilibrium." The whole fight was a (reserved) version of those style fights.
