Stargate/Farscape crossover

Kenshiro

First Post
Well, with AEG putting out both games, my friend (Voneth) got to chatting and came up with some ideas. Just imagine the conversations Jack O'Neill and John Crichton would have...

Chairman Trin: AEG did learn from their Farscape book. Don't reinvent the wheel AND don't give them everything in one book. Spread out those episodes into seperate suppliments.

Kenshiro: yeah, it is, but have you seen the version in the Fixer/Pointman book? it could work...but hey, they ARE learning and at least they're pushing d20 to its fullest instead of reinventing it.

Chairman Trin: But they are reinventing Spycraft. I can't complain to much. I could get some use out of my Series Archer book now.

Kenshiro: why not? both SG-1 and Spycraft led themselves well to sci-fi/action/pulp adventures without too much trouble.

Chairman Trin: And I have Farscape. You have to admit, my SG-1 games, if I used the Spycraft and not SAvage worlds, would be pretty strange.

Chairman Trin: "So I see. You are telling me that you came through that ring across the galaxy from a place called Earth. ... Tell me, do you know of a John Crichton?"

Chairman Trin: guess the character.

Kenshiro: well, SG-1 needs to have that balance between crunch and cinematic/storytelling venues...you do need to know the stats and abilities of a M1A1 Abrams tank, but you can also combine it with alien tech to make the tank shoot lightning bolts and becomes invisible.

Chairman Trin: "So tell me more about these Go'ould you are fighting. Do you think they know about a race called the Scarrans?"

Kenshiro: "It would seem that the Peacekeepers have what we need to get rid of the Replicators. IF we can trust them..."

Chairman Trin: ack! ack!

Kenshiro: hehehe.

Chairman Trin: The Asgards would not ally with the Peacekeepers! Well, maybe in the past when the Peacekeepers where true to their name.

Kenshiro: no, but remember there are other planets and races that would...I'm sure that the Nebari would LOVE to see Nirti's experiments with genetics and mind control.

Chairman Trin: True, though she is dead. I think most races would be boggled to think that the system lords have basicly become loose confederation with little interest in defending other lords from outside threats.

Kenshiro: and considering that they're so damn selfish and self-serving, they'd be trying to get backroom deals and treaties with whoever would support them...even the Scarrans would have trouble with the system lords, considering their Stargate networks

Chairman Trin: "Perhaps we can take this technology and use it as a weapon, yes? No one truely owns it since these ... Ancients have left it. I think the Emperor will be pleased!"
K
enshiro: cue the entrance of the Ancients, coming to O'Neill and Chrichton (or the PCs) at the same time, "Wake up, boys and girls! Those Scarrans bastids got hold of a Stargate! Get going!"

Chairman Trin: he he O'Neill and Chrichton would get along famously.

Kenshiro: oh yeah, imagine the little dynamic between Teal'c and D'argo

Chairman Trin: "Hey Carter, how come you can't as cool as John! He's just as smart and he even speaks English most of the time!"

Kenshiro: "John, I've seen the way you look at that Carter woman. Are you sure there's nothing going there? Because if there is, maybe you should talk to Aeryn about it and..."

"Look, pip. There ain't NOTHING going on with Major Carter. I mean, she's a nice gal and all, but she's a little too...miltary for me."

"Oh, the same way Aeryn was 'too military' for you as well?"

"Dammit, girl. This conversation is over!"

Chairman Trin: stolen.
