Message: <blockquote data-quote="LightPhoenix" data-source="post: 5344478" data-attributes="member: 115">It's episodes like this that really make me wish they'd kill off Young, Rush, and Wray.  Between the three of them (and Telford) they managed to do everything possible to piss off the LA people.  At least Wray tried to make things good.(Mini-Rant)At this point in time, I really don't get how people are following either Rush or Young.  Both of them show such monumental lapses in judgment and stubbornness that I'm surprised someone hasn't pulled a LA move and shot them in the head.I'm not certain that the episode was trying to make this point, but there were some mighty strong parallels between how the LA is purported to act (per Red's stories) and how the leaders of Destiny are acting (see: Riley's code).  In essence, the ship has become a warlord state.  I really hope that this gets addressed.(Rant Over)I would have cared more about Riley if they had showed some more character building scenes.  You know, like the ones in the Kino episodes where they build on the idea that Eli and Riley are friends.  That said, the actor did a great job with the whole death thing.Why mention the active volcanoes on the planet if they weren't going to use them?  I thought for sure the explosion would activate one.  I guess to show that Young would leave the non-useful LA on a hellhole like they were going to do last episode?So Rush is officially Baltar now?  I don't get why we're supposed to be on his side at all at this point.Overall a very blah episode.  Hopefully next week it picks up.  Also, hopefully the ratings pick up, or SGU won't be getting a third season.</blockquote>
