Message: <blockquote data-quote="Orius" data-source="post: 4982794" data-attributes="member: 8863">Yeah, and that guy has it coming.  He's a trouble maker.   So are some of those scientists, it looks like they're getting more and more paranoid, but they don't seem to understand that Destiny is still pretty much in a crisis situation, and the guys running things don't have sinister motives going on.  Eli's ability to think quickly seems to be his greatest strength so far.  He has no experience with the Stargates or Ancient tech or anything like that, but he has been able to think outside the box.  Learning how to use the Kinos, using the power in the shuttle, and even the Kino sled in this episode.  Because, I don't know, that guy doesn't have a contract for the whole season?  There are reasons why they don't bump of the main characters, one is actor contracts, and two, they don't want to irritate too many fans that might actually like the charater. I don't agree.  I thought Young was going to die back in the first episode, but he's also the best person to have in command.  Scott doesn't have the experince to be a leader, and I don't know if he really has enough focus to take charge yet either.  Look how he was too busy spending time with Chloe early in the episode to come to the gate room when ordered.  Wray might be able to run things too is necessary, and Young seems to be relying on her at least with the civilians.  Rush wouldn't be able to effectively take charge, he's far too anti-social for everyone to respect him, and there's already a great deal of resentment towards him for dialing that 9th chevron instead of Earth.</blockquote>
