My single biggest complaint with that movie was the idiotic way Verhoven presented the bugs. The bugs from the book are an INTELLEGENT race. They use weapons in battle, they build starships, they can launch nuclear warheads against targets on Earth.

That asside, I like your write up.

I went with the idea that most bugs are not overly bright, but that thier are far greater intelligences running the show, namely the Brain bug and Queen bugs, and as they can direct the other bugs activities, the other bugs by default near those controller bugs tend to act more intelligently. also some bugs like the Chameleon are intelligent on thier own out of necessity of the role they play.

The bugs will have a vessel statted for my Dragonstar N.C.S.C.R shortly, so don;t worry that front is covered

The Arachnids of Klandathu file has been updated based on feedback, numerous small revisions to rules have been added to better clarify various points.
