I've seen some that have only a few tracks (15-20 minutes worth each) and others have almost 100 tracks per CD. Either way, they work great once I rip 'em. Even read the fifth Harry Potter book that way, all 23 CDs worth. Also, since my ex moved to southern Virginia, I find myself in the car for 18+ hours round trip when I go to see my daughter, so books on CD have been worth their weight in gold to me. That's why I've begun buying Books on CD and donating them to the library system after I've read them.Well, the trouble appears to be with the player and not my computer. All my ports work fine for other devices but none of them work for the player. However, for the hundreds of hours I've gotten out of it (and the dozens of books I've listened to), I won't be crushed if I have to replace the MP3 player. I tried CD players years ago, but they never lasted more than a few months (even the good ones), so I moved to the solid state stuff and I'll never go back.I accidentally ate a bug once.
