[QUOTE="RedLeopard, post: 5418869, member: 89429"] I am going to be starting an online 3.5 game. This is what you need to know about the game before you start. This is serious business! 1. Nothing (if you are new or played only a couple of games). 2. Have a good time 3. Don't be rude to your team, or me. 4. Did I say have a good time already? 5. This game will run once a week. Twice if player interest is high, which it should be. 6. Game sessions will be on midnight on saturday EASTERN TIME and typical sessions will run 4-5 hours long. I will ask the group if they want to continue, and I will be giving 1-2 short breaks in between game. 7. This game will be text based. I understand people want the noise kept low in their homes, especially at this time, so I understand voice roleplaying would not work well here. 8. We will use openrpg. 9. Remember your goal is to beat your objective or the game. Even though the game has no end, try to do everything good. Do not try to beat me in something UNLESS you are correcting my train of thought. I go on tangents seldom. If you try to beat me in any manner, you will leave the game in a face down in a casket. I will not attend your funeral either. Now as far as the actual story. There isnt really a story sort of say. I believe this leads into linear gameplay, and Im looking for more open gameplay. The game will be centered around the players actions. You can be whatever alignment you want, if you are evil (that actually makes my job easier), you have to have a reason behind it that your party can agree with (good alignments are for pan...I mean pancakes). The theme will deal with people who would rather live with anarchy, kill off corrupt governments, people using magic and weapons as a means to get at certain people. Lots of murder, rape, chaos. The theme is hell. Literally if you walked to the front gate of my game it would say "Welcome to Hell, enjoy your stay." Two players have joined so far. Im looking to run a game with 4-5 people, MAYBE 6. I need to see how I can handle this right now. As far as rulebooks go, I will accept all of them, but you need to discuss your character build with me too. Flaws are encouraged, they allow better interaction in the game, and more feats. I have no restrictions on anything, but if your goal is to make your character so broken, you can destroy my game, well it wont make me mad, but think of the other players. I would like characters to actually have life to them. For instance how do they feel, IE: What are they like on a day to day basis? For a point buy system, 42 points will be allocated for stats.
