Message: <blockquote data-quote="Reynard" data-source="post: 3807296" data-attributes="member: 467">::casts raise thread::I love AD&D.  We got started, after eating and BSing, about 7 PM last night.  I closed up my screen and calc'd XP at about 10:30.  In the 3 and a half hours between, the PCs managed to fully explore and clear the entire ground level of the Moathouse.  We had 5 good, exciting fights and lots of searching and exploring and even some role-playing (when the other 3 PCs informed the elf wizard that if he ever again slept all of them in addition to the enemies, and then slit the throats of all the enemies before waking them, he'd have to learn to cast spells without somatic components).I honestly do not believe, after 7 years of experience with it, all that could have fit into such a short session using 3.5 rules.Yay for old school gaming!</blockquote>
