Dogs have a +4 racial bonus on Jump checks. *Dogs have a +4 racial bonus on Survival checks when tracking by scent.

Improved Familiar doesn't work for you?

Well, maybe if you were going for maximum authenticity to source material, that still wouldn't work, but... it'd be pretty close anyway. It's not like the Vancian system is anything like Runic magic anyway.

D20srd dog entry, copied to word, cut off the celestial dog table section, inserted bolding code for the stat block entry names, converted table to tab seperated text and copied to enworld post.
