Stat the Beastie!

NewLifeForm

First Post
OK, we've all seen the threads where people put up their monsters and ask someone to draw them. Well I'm gonna go one better :p I say we artist types put up monster illustrations and the manic monster makers out there do the creatures' stats in d20 format. What sayeth you?

I'll start with a not so wee member of the 'Wee Folk' - Name it and stat it:

It's fun and there's no sticky residue!

"Mathaphegul"

It looks like a popular faerie of my country, Emilia Romagna, called Mazapegul, at least.. he's a CN creature. He's got black eyes, a red dress, and ... he likes to make tricks!

hmm..

str: 9
cha: 16
int: 16 he's very smart..
wis: 9 - Lack of wisdom..
cos: 12
dex: 18 fast as wind!

And he can cast as a 2nd level druid.

hmm.. what else... it's really good drawn! ... if you like the "Mathaphegul", i will continue..

He's got a cobweb growing in his ear and a fishbone and tree trunk in his hair? Looks like a curmudgeon to me. :-)

Maybe he's the grumpy midden fairy? Likes to like in a cave under the midden pile? He's magically linked to his pile, but gains power as it grows larger. His stench is horrible, forming a cloud of nausea in his vicinity. He hates brownies and all house fairies. Resistant to disease and poisons. Whatever his :):):):)-eyed sight views, it appears to him to be in an advanced state of decay. So even a youngster looks like an old geezer. (Immune to spell-like effects based on beauty, such as from a nymph.) Meanwhile he's under the distinct impression that he's the :):):):)-of-the-walk; cloaked in finery and the most beautiful creature the eye can behold.

Excellent so far!

But lets get this puppy rolling! Any other artists out there wanna join in? I've got another and it's in unliving color!...

Both ideas for the creature are great, but I'm especially glad it fit in with your world Kathaer.
I might use robjh's concept for an Ars Magica game :)

By all means.

I think he also looks like the Druid homonuculus forgot the name.
