And not every roleplayer who has played D&D has followed the logical upgrade path that WotC would have liked them to. So, you have lots of people who are playing a variety of RPGs (OD&D and all the iterations in between). Most of these people aren't active purchasers, though, and that's *always* been the challenge for RPGs.</blockquote>
