What a terrible, terrible curse. Create a thread that can prove useful to others and then make it easy-to-find only to have it ignored.

Yeah.... If you have moderators privileges you just lock the sticky thread so no one can reply and then you make a floating discussion thread, with a link to the sticky thread, so people will read and talk about the sticky thread...

Well PbP is a bit different than the rest of the forum... If I a normal user, and say I wasn’t looking for new game to join, than I could very easy bounce about the PbP forums without ever looking at the list of threads in the various forums so you really do have to go out of your way to catch the typical PbPer’s attention.
