You may expend a healing surge with a bonus equal to your CHA modifier to heal a vehicle or mechanical object. You can not repair a device reduced to 0 hit points, since it is totally destroyed at that point.</p><p><strong>Man Versus Machine (11th Level):</strong> You can use your divine power to destroy or repair machines. When you are adjacent to any creature that you have marked with your "divine challenge" ability, it provokes an opportunity attack from you if it makes an attack that does not include you. The cannon has minimal range and can not be reloaded during combat. This weapon relies on the strength of the user to aim this artillery piece properly (STR rather than INT). Only characters with a STR of 15 or higher can retain “heavy shield proficiency” when bearing a steam cannon shield. The steam cannon shield can either be enchanted as a ranged weapon or a defensive shield (not both).</p><p>STEAM CANNON SHIELD (4lb ball): PROF +0, DAM 1d12, RNG 5/10, PRICE 150gp, WT 35lb, GROUP Artillery, PROPERTIES: Heavy Thrown, Load (Between Encounters).</p></blockquote><p></p>
