Is anyone working on acquiring the rights to Dragaera (sp?) from Steven Brust (or the publishing house)?

I'd pay money for a 3E D&D version in either/both timeframes that the books are set in.

Not that I expect anyone to answer if they've tried, due to business reasons. I just wanted to say I'd really like to see that from a publisher.

I agree wholeheartedly, Zaukrie. I've actually expressed surprise in the past that there hasn't been an RPG based on Dragaera.

I suppose that Brust might be opposed to an RPG based on his creation, but I haven't actually heard him comment on the issue. Anyway, I would love to see an RPG based on Brust's Dragaera.

I doubt that the old man cares that much. Show him some bank and a competant proposal, and then you'll probably do business with the man; he's a writer and musician, and a gamer, so he'll likely be interested if you have the money and the good sense to do it right.

That could very well be true, but it's just odd that nobody has jumped on a Dragaera RPG after all this time.

So, has anyone out there tried to acquire the license for this game and failed? Is anyone actually working on this game and willing to talk about it?
