I am busy but want to throw in two cents worth right now.Get ready to do some research - a lot.  I may be able to help you in this regard with suggestions and stuff.  This is what I would do.  I would present a paper to the Principle, The AP, the school Newspaper, local paper ect.  Something about games and their influence on people.Then attack football.  There is more than enough 'evidence' (speculation and theory at least) that football and like sports are some of the most harmful games this society plays.  What do they do: teach unfettered competition, teach use of force and violence as means to an end, teach that the true mover and shaker is an indivdual and not a group (fractures family or creates autocratic fathers) - for starters.Subliminal messages: male dominance, women as objects de art to be sexualized and placed on sidelines of real activity (cheerleaders),  physical prowess is more important than intellectual/spiritual/or other parts of our being/ autocracy (coaching), pro-war (think of all the lingo associated with football).Then start digging up stats on football players and criminal activity, health, drug abuse, income, chances of success vs failure.  There are some interesting reports on this indicating that football is creating a whole host of unemployables (its all they know).And on and on and on.Attack something else, get some stir up, be mean and make everyone aware of their hypocrocies.Then attack Chess - idealized caste societyattack em all - even solitaire.Eventually round out with a discussion of new games such as D and D and place it in a broader social context as type of localized 'theatre' that expresses and 'discusses'  current moral dilemnas and trie to seek a modern understanding of mans place and worth in society by examing issues of social justice and how to act on them in a safe and fantastic  nostalgic landscape.  These issues - go further to explain - are no  longer addressed by society at large in such a manner as to be digestible to many members of that society.Anyway - attack back is almays my motto.  Not that it has always served me well.  How will this help, probably not at all.  But I can at least live a revolt vicariously through you LOL.Davis</blockquote>
