I like the DMG 2 rules, but I also really like the 'Paragon Leadership' option suggested here.. time to Yoink that!

Glad to hear. The creation for such companions is surprisingly little work (until higher levels, but meh). I did update it a bit to include things that ask for other bonuses (powers that want to do something based on your charisma, for example). To state it here, assume that extra numbers required within a power are 2.
