Still Spell Question (repeat?)

How do the DMs out there handle the Still Spell Metamagic Feat with regards to material components? If no somatic movements are needed, how are those materials used? Would at least SOME kind of movement be needed to complete a Still Spell that required materials?

Read the Grappling section.

While grappled, you cannot cast a spell with a somatic component.

You can cast a spell with a Material component... provided you have the component in hand.

Also check Natural Spell from MotW. Somatic components are replaced by paw-waving or wing-waggling... but you still ahve to hold the M component in your beak, or whatever.

I love those feats [Still & Silent Spell, and Eschew Components). Nothing is more fun than watching my players gasp in terror as their nemesis glances at them and fire erupts around them. Ususally after that trick, they run like hell, thinking they're up against a demigawd or somesuch.
