In one of the later pre-Disney novels (both in timeline and in publishing date), there is a scene where Leia's daughter is trying to evade some next-generation stormtroopers; one of them hits her big floppy sleeve. She thinks "These are not your mother's stormtroopers" and tries to duck around a corner.
