On February 18th, 2004 at 7:00pm Central Time (8:00pm EST, 7PM CST/5PM PST/1AM GMT/8AM CXT, and half-past never in Narnia) there will be a live chat hosted in #dnd3e that any fan of the Story Hour forum would be a fool to miss.

Some of ENWorld's most popular authors will be present, like Piratecat, Diaglo, Destan, Zad, OldOne, JonRog1, JollyDoc and (contact).

Discussions will no doubt include how each author approaches their story hour, their respective goals and styles, and the challenges of presenting compelling stories balanced against the underlying games that fuel them.

Authors, feel free to chime in if you'll be participating. I believe either Harlock or thatdarncat has the complete list of attendees, and hopefully they'll grace us with more details or information as we get closer to the date.

I know I'm looking forward to it!

Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday!
NITRO STORY HOUR ACTION!
BE THERE!

(OK, I'll stop now.):)

EDIT: Fixed Dru's extremely poor time-zone translation goof. TWICE, even.

Isn't 7 pm Central time only an hour behind Eastern time, not three hours?

I'd sure like to take part, either way though.

Harlock's been sick, but I'll poke him to get an updated list. I think it's safe to say that anyone is welcome to show up :)

Our record is 150 attendees - that was for the first Monte Cook chat wayyyy back when (about 2 years ago). With (last time I counted) 10 authors attending, whatchya think, can we beat the record?

There is a name conspicuously absent.
Well, it got you to post, didn't it? :D

Honestly, I hadn't seen you on the quick list of folks who'd said yes. Which was half the point of the thread (the other being to raise awareness).

I wasn't invited.

Thatdarncat snubbed me.

I don't know whether to blame Piratecat for locking down my thread and insuring that it sank to the bottom of the posts... Where, somehow the rollickin'est bad-guy-chum-frenzy dwarf-kickin' peck-wackin' story hour in the forum manages to escape the notice of the chat organizer...

... Or the unfortunate "wardrobe malfunction" last time I did a chat.

I swear, the lace was supposed to remain behind!

EDIT: In case it's not clear in context, I am not offended nor trying to offend anyone... Just goofing around.
