The many forms of fungus growing here compete with mineral deposits for the eye's attention to the most phantasmogoric series of shapes: here a spired deposit which could be an efreet castle, there a pocked toadstool looking like some hunched monster. As is so common, there are many insects here, as well as rats and bats.
