Young people with special abilities who wish to serve in the American armed forces are strongly encouraged to attend the Royal Military Academy. This school provides a rigorous education to prepare them for service and use their superhuman gifts to the best effect. The academy’s students compete for coveted positions as part of the school’s elite superhuman team, Strike Squad Alpha.
Squad Alpha prepares these young men and women for active duty on one of the various Strikeforce teams after graduation. Members learn teamwork, train how to use their powers as individuals and as a unit and gain valuable field experience. Belonging to Squad Alpha represents a grueling, challenging, and sometimes painful opportunity that, while rewarding, also leaves behind its own scars.
The team’s members currently include the following: Victory, Jr., Bravo, Echo, India, Yankee, November, Sierra, Tango, and Zulu. Their trainer and faculty representative, Gunnery Sergeant Lyle Delfleur, is a hard-bitten drill instructor with a record of training superhumans on the Strikeforce teams.
