I was wondering if anyone out there had gone to the trouble of fixing the prices in the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook? Some of the prices for stronghold spaces are out of whack compared to each other.
For instance:
A fully equipped Basic Alchemical Laboratory, complete with fireplace, beakers, flasks, burners and everything else you need to use the alchemy skill, costs 700gp. A Basic Dining Hall, with a fireplace, some rough wooden tables, and some animal heads or old weapons for decoration costs 2000gp. Granted, its twice the size, but with no more than some rough wood furnishings and some cheap animal heads or old weapons compared to all that expensive alchemical stuff, it ought to cost a lot less. Incidentally, a "Basic Kitchen", which has all the equipment needed to cook meals and clean up afterward yet only takes up half the space of the Basic Dining Hall, also costs 2000gp.
Another good example is the "Basic Courtyard", which costs 1000gp. For 1000gp, you get a 20x20 square of open ground with gravel or packed earth and a wooden bench or two. Huh?
I was just wondering if anyone had changed the prices to better reflect what you're supposed to be getting.
Thanks!
