DMG p. 301 "Nauseated: Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention. The only action such a character can take is a single move action per turn." [PHB p.156] "You can escape a grapple by winning an opposed grapple check in place of making an attack. You can make an Escape Artist check in place of your grapple check if you so desire, but this requires a standard action." Initiating any kind of a grapple check requires an attack as part of a standard or a full-round action. While a nauseated character would be able to roll grapple checks to resist being grappled or resist grapple actions, they only have a move action each round as long as they are nauseated and can do nothing else, being too sick to struggle in an effective way. [PHB p. 298] "...the wall deals 2d6 points of fire damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +20) to any creature passing through it." It has nothing do with how many sqaures a creature is passing through it, it deals this much damage to any creature simply "passing" through the wall. A large creature will not take more damage from passing through the wall any more than taking more damage for a fireball because the larger creatures take up more space. It just doesn't work that way. A rather too brief bit of text. I take it to read more succinctly as: "Eight continuous 10-ft. cubes" and have the text fiurther clarify with "A minimum of one cube must begin adjacent to the caster' square." Being a splat book you're kinda on your own here, no text to really help out with this one but that's how I'd probably recommend somone to read it.
