Sturmsgård, an experimental campaign
Sturmsgård
Major Wilson looked down across the yard, viewing the neat assemblage of crack troops assembled in the courtyard below. His eye wandered farther going to the iron wrought fences surrounding the larger of compound. What once were beautiful creatures, stripped to wear rags, with their bodies having more akin to undead then to the living. Amongst the elves orks would move, prisoners press-ganged into wardens snarling at these shivering creatures. He subconsciously gripped his sword, feeling the cool metal against his skin. It comforted him.
"...therefore need to allocate more food, to elvish prisoners under Special Projects. The Emperor has demanded that production of the Mana Panzer Mark III must be stepped up... Sir, are you listening to me?"
Wilson gripped his sword, turning around abruptly, looking down at short stocky man, luckily not wearing his work clothes, the greasy smell of death still was around him. "I am always listening Doctor Koeffel. What is the problem this time?" Wilson asked with a bored but amused smile on his face.
"We need healthy elves, so that we can run initial tests on combat capability of the prototype."
"You know as well as I do that all healthy work force units are being transferred to start work on the fortresses."
Dr. Koeffel just stood there with a pleading expression, "Sir..."
Wilson had the sudden urge of crushing in the face of the simpering idiot in front of him. Abruptly turning towards his large desk, he starts jotting down a quick note on a clean piece of paper. "No matter. I am sure that the necessary workforces will be turned over to you. Lieutenant, make sure Doctor Koeffel receives the necessary work units." Quickly signing and stamping the paper he dismissed the Doctor as he shuffled off back to work.
Wilson went back to admiring the view from the window.
Sturmsgård is a game situated in a mythical human Empire of Aerton. The Emperor Isorn has declared war against the elvish Empire of Moondevier. Already four years have gone into the Human-Elvish war, with each side becoming more blood thirsty and desperate in their actions. The final outrage was the total annihilation of the city Dunhir, by a wing red dragons by the elves, 40 000 dead in that one night.
The characters played will be senior officers, and important civilians of Prisoner Camp 442 also known as a Sturmgård. The campaign starts in January. It will be an exploration of the darker side of humanity.
Just thought I would describe a different type of game.
