Since I've decided to give it one more try, I am needing writers to work for the Stygian D20 E-zine. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, please see this site: http://www.realmsofevil.net/stygian/
As you can tell, the Stygian is a community project of a rather large scale, possibly being one of the largest e-zines published with issue #3 coming out to about 145 pages. Being free, I cannot pay anyone anything for their work (artists, writers, and editors) so everything is completely voluntary. However, when we do publish an issue, it gets downloaded...a lot. Close to 1,000 downloads everyday for the first two weeks after it is uploaded (so much my file server becomes clogged with requests). Now that we have a staff of artists, cartographers, and layout professionals, I can guarantee that this next issue that I am now recruiting for will be top notch (maybe ENnie material? We'll see
). Now all I need are dedicated writers who can successfully write to deadline and be able to revise their own work going off of our editor's notes.
If you are interested in being published in one of the larger (if free) e-zines, then please e-mail me at: RoETyrant@aol.com. We will take articles themed on any D20 product that is currently a part of the SRD as long as the content coincides with the issues overall theme (and sometimes even if the article doesn't).
Companies interested in advertising or who'd like to showcase something from their books as an article should also e-mail me so we can discuss specifics.
Those of you interested in just jumping in can join the Stygian mailing list by sending a blank e-mail to: stygian-d20-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or by going to: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/stygian-d20/ and signing up manually.
